If you are a quilter, crafter, create your own clothes or just someone who likes to sew, period, I highly recommend checking out Spoonflower’s selection of fabrics. I’m not just saying that because I sell my designs there. (Although if you do buy fabric in one of our designs, please send us a pic of your creation and we’ll feature it here and on Insta/FB!) I choose to sell on Spoonflower because of these 4 reasons.
Even though I’ve tried to be healthy over the years, I never really followed the “8 glasses of water a day” rule. But on October 1st, I started the Last 90 Days Challenge which is why I began to drink more water. Like a LOT more water. And I’ve noticed some very positive changes.
For the past few years, we have hosted Thanksgiving at our house. My husband fries the turkey in the driveway and everyone else makes a side dish. My primary job is cleaning and prepping the house for the 9-12 guests we will be hosting, including decorating. Our buffet this year will be decorated with this lighted pumpkin vase.
I’ve had this idea tumbling around my head for a while now. We go through so much dang toilet paper, I thought it might be nice to do something with rolls we end up throwing away. Seriously, it’s like at least 4-5 rolls a week. This is a craft you could do with an older child, 8+ years. The painting and drawing can be a little tedious and may frustrate a younger child.
Not actually me. Today is my Grandmom’s birthday. She would have been 97 years old. That saying is now a favorite of our family.
Fall and the slowly shortening days makes me crave coffee and tea. One of the tea brands I like is from this region and comes in a fun jar that I thought would be great for a Halloween decoration this year.
Our leaves are still green. Some turning brown or perhaps mustardy colored. Not the picturesque Norman Rockwell depiction of Autumn by any means.
Don’t know about you, but lately I can’t bare to read, watch or listen to the news or other media. Honestly, some days it makes we want to keep all of my loved ones in the house and never let them out.
Predictable, but fun – sea shells are the perfect environmentally friendly vase filler.
Just in time for summer, a new collection of wave patterns are available from Flossie’s Grand on Spoonflower and the Roostery!
